Welcome to this year's winter reading and activity program. We have revamped our winter program to include new and improved fun activities and reading challenges. This year's winter program will be fully online through our easy to use Beanstack app which will be available to access through the website or a phone app.

For every 5 activities and/or reading challenges you complete, you will be entered into our grand prize drawing.

ADULT READING CHALLENGE
For Teens & Adults

The library will not be participating this year in the FREE Summer Meals program.
However, please read below for information on meals and food distribution in the area. 

During National Library Week, patrons can have their fines/fees waived for Round Lake Area Library items or items we are responsible for. Each new item you bring in from the approved list below will equal $3 of fines/fees waived.

*We CANNOT waive overdue fines/fees from other libraries or collection fees.

Ayuda a los Veteranos y Reduce tus Multas

Durante la Semana Nacional de la Biblioteca, usuarios pueden cancelar multas en materiales de la Biblioteca de Round Lake o por material bajo nuestra responsibilidad. Cada nuevo articulo que traiga de nuestra lista aprobada se cancelara una multa de $3.

*No podemos cancelar multas de otras bibliotecas or pagos de coleccíon.

National Library Week April 7, 2019 - April 13, 2019

The library will accept only the items listed below in exchange for reducing Fines/Fees on Round Lake Area Public Library items or items that we are responsible for. We will not reduce any fines from other libraries or collection account fees. Each item below will equal a $3.00 reduction of fine/fees from patron accounts. All donations will go to Midwest Veterans Closet.

The list of acceptable items include the following – all items must be new and NO trial / travel sizes accepted:

❯ Package of Paper plates
❯ Package of Paper napkins
❯ Package of Paper towels (at least a 2-pack or 2 rolls)
❯ Package of plastic storage bags
❯ Box of aluminum foil
❯ Bottle of lotion
❯ Chap stick/lip balm (at least a 2-pack)
❯ Package of baby wipes
❯ Package of 13-gallon trash bags
❯ Package of 33-gallon trash bags
❯ Box wax paper
❯ Box plastic wrap
❯ Bottle or box of laundry detergent
❯ Bottle of bleach
❯ Bottle of dish liquid
❯ Bath soap bars (2) or liquid bath soap
❯ New socks
❯ New winter gloves
❯ New winter hats
❯ New winter scarves
❯ New cooking utensils
